This page is for my friends and neighbours who voted Conservative in the 2022 provincial election

Many of my friends and neighbours voted for the Honourable Sheref Sabawy in the 2022 Ontario provincial election.

He does not appear to be willing to respond, notwithstanding many letters and e-mails. His approach seems to be that we cannot stop a moving train.

Can you please attempt to speak to him and tell him?

1. He has the ability to advocate on our behalf with Premier Ford and the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing concerning the "provincial priorities" currently imposed and about to be imposed on the City of Mississauga by his Government. Unfortunately the current "provincial priorities" do not include protection of thriving small businesses or protection of existing well-planned and walkable communities.

2. He has the ability to advocate on our behalf with the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing respecting any future Ministerial Zoning Order favouring the Developer and overriding any ruling by the City of Mississauga or the Ontario Land Tribunal.

3. The whole Erin Mills South community is angry about the possibility that we will lose our beloved plaza for an ugly development that will not benefit anyone except the Developer. As planned, it will not improve the supply of affordable housing in Mississauga.

4. If he is not responsive to his constituents, he will not be successful in the next provincial election.

The federal Conservative Party of Canada seems to be just as oblivious to the concerns of this community as the provincial Progressive Conservatives.
